Saturday Thank You

I pause to say thank you for the returning strength in my body and mind and for the family that stood beside me through it all. I say thanks for the end of Mom's chemo and her returning health. Thanks for the coming of spring at just the right time. And thanks for my soon to be here son.

Today we offer a prayer of thanks
for life and love and for the strength
it took to keep faith alive
when the pain blinded us
to all else but feeling it.

For this and our improving health, we say thanks to you.

For strength to see the pain through and to be well again, I prey for strength. I pray for guidance and patience and again, I pray for strength to you our Father.

Saturday

We ask for peace this day and safe travels for our friends, home and abroad. We ask peace for our families and a sense of reassurance for those in need. All is not lost and while we are breathing, we pray for a sense of life's glory to fill our hearts.

A prayer today to ask that the wars come to an end and we, the inhabitants of the earth, find our common voice and work to save ourselves from certain extinction. Peace and respect we ask for all those who neither have it nor give it and a sense of all we could be to replace the certain knowledge of what others are not.

All this we ask, Amen

Friday

A prayer for peace and for hope for all those in the world who are beset and over run by doubt, by pain, by hardship... A prayer for them to be at ease.

A prayer to find joy in all around us and to stop who we might become if we lose sight of who we are divinely inspired to be.

Finally a prayer for all those lost in the sea of our world, who feel the rudder no longer holds them to their course... a prayer for them for light and guidance and a beacon and the knowing of the beacon when they see it.
